Gabriel McDaniel and Martha Riley Carter.¹ Amanda Ann McDaniel married James Mickelborough Greenwood on 1 November 1859 at Carrolton, MO.¹ Amanda Ann McDaniel died on 12 July 1904 at Kansas City, MO, at age 70.¹

     James Mickelborough Greenwood was born on 15 November 1836 at Laomi, il.¹ He married Amanda Ann McDaniel, daughter of Sgt. Gabriel McDaniel and Martha Riley Carter, on 1 November 1859 at Carrolton, MO.¹ James Mickelborough Greenwood died on 1 August 1914 at Kansas City, MO, at age 77.¹

     Aileen Lewers was born on 15 March 1898 at Schofield, MO.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Alexander Lewers and Jeanette (Nalie) Earhart Greenwood.¹ Aileen Lewers married William Carroll Langston MD on 29 August 1923 at Crane, MO.¹ Aileen Lewers died on 15 August 1971 at age 73.¹

     William Carroll Langston MD was born on 18 November 1897 at Crane, MO.¹ He married Aileen Lewers, daughter of Charles Alexander Lewers and Jeanette (Nalie) Earhart Greenwood, on 29 August 1923 at Crane, MO.¹ William Carroll Langston MD died on 15 September 1989 at York, PA, at age 91; Soc Sec Death Index.¹

     Gov. Thomas Dudley was baptized on 12 October 1576 at Yardley-Hasting, Co. Nothamptonshire.¹ He married Katherine Deighton (widow of Samuel Hackburne or Hagburne), daughter of Dr. John Deighton and Jane Bassett, on 4 April 1644 at Roxbury, MA.² Gov. Thomas Dudley died on 31 July 1653 at Roxbury, MA, at age 76.¹

     Katherine Deighton (widow of Samuel Hackburne or Hagburne) was baptized on 16 January 1614/15 at St. Nicholas, Gloucester, Co. Gloucestershire.² She was the daughter of Dr. John Deighton and Jane Bassett.¹ Katherine Deighton (widow of Samuel Hackburne or Hagburne) married Gov. Thomas Dudley on 4 April 1644 at Roxbury, MA.² Katherine Deighton (widow of Samuel Hackburne or Hagburne) died on 20 August 1671 at age 56.²

     Gov. Joseph Dudley was born on 23 September 1647 at Roxbury, MA.¹ He was the son of Gov. Thomas Dudley and Katherine Deighton (widow of Samuel Hackburne or Hagburne).¹ Gov. Joseph Dudley married Rebecca Tyng in 1669 at MA.¹ Gov. Joseph Dudley died on 2 April 1720 at Roxbury, MA, at age 72.¹

     Rebecca Tyng was born on 13 July 1651 at Boston, MA.¹ She married Gov. Joseph Dudley, son of Gov. Thomas Dudley and Katherine Deighton (widow of Samuel Hackburne or Hagburne), in 1669 at MA.¹ Rebecca Tyng died on 21 September 1722 at MA at age 71.¹

     Ann Dudley was baptized on 31 August 1684 at MA.¹ She was the daughter of Gov. Joseph Dudley and Rebecca Tyng.¹ Ann Dudley married John Winthrop F.R.S. on 16 December 1707.¹ Ann Dudley died on 29 May 1776 at MA at age 91.¹

     John Winthrop F.R.S. was born on 26 August 1681 at Boston, MA.¹ He married Ann Dudley, daughter of Gov. Joseph Dudley and Rebecca Tyng, on 16 December 1707.¹ John Winthrop F.R.S. died on 1 August 1747 at Sydenham, England, at age 65.¹

     Mary Winthrop was born on 18 September 1708 at MA.¹ She was the daughter of John Winthrop F.R.S. and Ann Dudley.¹ Mary Winthrop married Gov. Joseph Wanton of RI circa 1729.¹ Mary Winthrop died on 25 February 1767 at Newport, RI, at age 58.¹

     Gov. Joseph Wanton of RI was born on 15 August 1705 at Newport, RI.¹ He married Mary Winthrop, daughter of John Winthrop F.R.S. and Ann Dudley, circa 1729.¹ Gov. Joseph Wanton of RI died on 19 July 1780 at Newport, RI, at age 74.¹

     Elizabeth Wanton was born on 22 October 1742 at Newport, RI.¹ She was the daughter of Gov. Joseph Wanton of RI and Mary Winthrop.¹ Elizabeth Wanton married Thomas Wickham on 28 December 1762 at Newport, RI.¹ Elizabeth Wanton died on 25 August 1814 at Newport, RI, at age 71.¹

     Thomas Wickham was born on 5 April 1736 at Newport, RI.¹ He married Elizabeth Wanton, daughter of Gov. Joseph Wanton of RI and Mary Winthrop, on 28 December 1762 at Newport, RI.¹ Thomas Wickham died on 21 February 1816 at Newport, RI, at age 79.¹

     Elizabeth Wickham married Walter Clarke Gardiner.¹ Elizabeth Wickham was born on 2 November 1773 at Newport, RI.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Wickham and Elizabeth Wanton.¹ Elizabeth Wickham died on 15 August 1803 at Somerset Co., MD, at age 29.¹

     Walter Clarke Gardiner married Elizabeth Wickham, daughter of Thomas Wickham and Elizabeth Wanton.¹ Walter Clarke Gardiner was baptized in 1790 at as an adult.¹ He died in March 1817 at Northampton Co., VA.¹

     Mary Stead Pinckney Gardiner was born on 28 November 1798 at Newark, NJ.¹ She was the daughter of Walter Clarke Gardiner and Elizabeth Wickham.¹ Mary Stead Pinckney Gardiner married Richard Nottingham circa 19 July 1814 at Northampton Co., VA.¹ Mary Stead Pinckney Gardiner died on 15 March 1823 at Northampton Co., VA, at age 24.¹

     Richard Nottingham was born circa 1783 at Northampton Co., VA.¹ He married Mary Stead Pinckney Gardiner, daughter of Walter Clarke Gardiner and Elizabeth Wickham, circa 19 July 1814 at Northampton Co., VA.¹ Richard Nottingham died before 15 March 1823 at Northampton Co., VA.¹

     Luther Nottingham was born in 1817 at Northampton Co., VA.¹ He was the son of Richard Nottingham and Mary Stead Pinckney Gardiner.¹ Luther Nottingham married Catherine E. Dalby (2nd wife) circa 1 October 1849 at Northampton Co., VA.¹ Luther Nottingham died on 27 October 1867 at Cobbs Station, Northampton Co., VA.¹

     Catherine E. Dalby (2nd wife) was born on 6 January 1828 at Northampton Co., VA.¹ She married Luther Nottingham, son of Richard Nottingham and Mary Stead Pinckney Gardiner, circa 1 October 1849 at Northampton Co., VA.¹ Catherine E. Dalby (2nd wife) died in 1905 at Northampton Co., VA.¹

     Arthur McKendree Nottingham was born on 17 March 1856 at Eastville, Northampton Co., VA.¹ He was the son of Luther Nottingham and Catherine E. Dalby (2nd wife).¹ Arthur McKendree Nottingham married Laura Alice Toulson (nee Evans) on 25 July 1900 at Baltimore, MD.¹ Arthur McKendree Nottingham died on 30 August 1920 at Onancock, Accomack Co., VA, at age 64.¹

     Laura Alice Toulson (nee Evans) was born on 19 April 1875 at Ewell, Somerset Co., MD.¹ She married Arthur McKendree Nottingham, son of Luther Nottingham and Catherine E. Dalby (2nd wife), on 25 July 1900 at Baltimore, MD.¹ Laura Alice Toulson (nee Evans) died on 16 January 1968 at Westfield, IN, at age 92.¹

     William Prosser Nottingham was born on 27 April 1911 at Onancock, Accomack Co., VA.¹ He was the son of Arthur McKendree Nottingham and Laura Alice Toulson (nee Evans).¹ William Prosser Nottingham married Gwynne Roads Dulin (nee Wagner) on 20 December 1957 at Indianapolis, IN.¹ William Prosser Nottingham died on 5 June 2001 at Beech Grove, Marion Co., IN, at age 90; Soc. Sec. Index.¹

     Gwynne Roads Dulin (nee Wagner) was born on 6 October 1909. She married William Prosser Nottingham, son of Arthur McKendree Nottingham and Laura Alice Toulson (nee Evans), on 20 December 1957 at Indianapolis, IN.¹ Gwynne Roads Dulin (nee Wagner) died on 6 July 1989 at age 79.

     Childeric I King of Franks 458-481 was born at Tournai.¹ He was the son of Mérovée (Merovech) Founder of the Merovingian Dynasty. Childeric I King of Franks 458-481 married Basina in 464.⁴ Childeric I King of Franks 458-481 died circa 481 at Tournai.¹ He was

“CHILDERICH (-Tournai [481/82], bur Tournai).˜ Gregory of Tours records that Merovech was the father of Childerich[17].˜ The Liber Histori? Francorum names "Merovechus?filium?Childerico"[18].˜ He succeeded in [451/57] as leader of the Franks in Roman Gaul, and subsequently adopted the title CHILDERICH I King of the Franks, confirmed by his undated seal which bears the title "Childerici Regiz"[19].˜ Gregory of Tours records that King Childerich's "private life was one long debauch" and that he was forced into exile in Thuringia by his subjects who chose as his replacement the Roman General ?gidius, named magister militum per Gallias in [456/57] and who ruled for 8 years[20].˜ Gregory of Tours records Childerich's restoration as king in Gaul, followed by his alliance with "Odovacar?[and] his Saxons" (indicating that this is unlikely to refer to the Ostrogoth leader in Italy), and their joint subjugation of the Alamanni[21].˜ A letter from Remigius Bishop of Reims to Childerich's son Clovis congratulates the latter on taking over his father's position in "Belgica Secunda"[22], implying that Childerich's authority was limited to the north-east part of Gaul.˜ The Liber Histori? Francorum records that "Childericus rex" reigned for 24 years[23].˜ m ([464]) as her second husband, BASINA, formerly wife of BASINUS King of Thuringia, daughter of ---.˜ Gregory of Tours names Basina as wife of Basinus King of Thuringia, with whom King Childerich sought refuge after being deposed, Basina deserting her first husband to join Childerich after he was restored as king in Gaul[24].˜ The marriage date is estimated on the basis of how long Childerich was allegedly in exile, assuming that the date of his deposition is accurate, and is appears to be consistent with the estimated dates of birth of the couple's descendants.˜ The Liber Histori? Francorum records that "Childericus rex" committed adultery with "in Toringam?Basina regina uxorem Bisini regis" who abandoned her husband to join Childerich[25].˜ Assuming that Basina existed, it is unlikely that her first name is correct considering that it is the feminine form of her first husband's name.˜ King Childerich & his wife had four children:”

     Clovis I (Chlodovech) "The Great" King of Salic Franks 481-511 was born ca 0464-0466 at Paris.¹ He was the son of Childeric I King of Franks 458-481 and Basina.¹ Clovis I (Chlodovech) "The Great" King of Salic Franks 481-511 married NN---- concubine-of the Franks of the Rhine.¹ Clovis I (Chlodovech) "The Great" King of Salic Franks 481-511 married Chrotechildis of Burgundy in 492.¹ Clovis I (Chlodovech) "The Great" King of Salic Franks 481-511 was buried at Paris.¹ He died on 27 November 511.¹ He was

"CHLODOVECH [Clovis], son of CHILDERICH I King of the Franks & his wife Basina --- ([464/67]-Paris [27 Nov] 511, bur Paris, basilique des Saints-Apôtres [later église de Sainte-Geneviève]). Gregory of Tours names Clovis as son of Childerich & Basina[37]. The Liber Historiæ Francorum names "Childerico" as father of "Chlodovecho rege"[38]. He succeeded his father in [481/82] as CLOVIS I King of the Franks. He defeated Syagrius, ruler at Soissons, in 486. The Liber Historiæ Francorum records that "Chlodovechus" expanded his kingdom "usque Sequanam" and afterwards "usque Ligere fluvio"[39]. He remained a pagan after his marriage to a Catholic wife, but converted to Christianity in [496] allegedly having vowed to do so if successful in a battle against the Alamans[40]. He allied with Godegisel against Gondebaud King of Burgundy in [500][41]. He defeated and killed Alaric II King of the Visigoths at the campus Vogladensis[42], probably Voulan, near Poitiers, athough this is popularly known as the battle of Vouillé[43], in 507. Gregory of Tours records that Clovis took control of the territory of the Sigebert King of the Franks of the Rhine, after persuading Sigeric's son Chloderic to kill his father and then killing Chloderic, as well as the territory of Chararic King of the Salian Franks[44]. Gregory of Tours records the death of King Clovis in Paris "five years after the battle of Vouillé" and his burial in the church of the Holy Apostles, which he and Queen Clotilde had built[45]."
